Climate in Germany
Germany has a tempered climate, with an annual average temperature of 11 ºC. The average temperature of January varies from -3 ºC to 6 ºC in Berlin, whereas the temperature of the month of July varies between the 22 ºC and the 30 ºC. The low territories of the north have a climate something warmer than the central and south region. The precipitation is greater in the south, where it reaches about 1,980 mm to the year, the majority in snow form. The central plateau receives a maximum of 1,500 mm of rain to the year, and the low territories of the north arrive up to 710 mm at the year.
