Condado de Alhama is more than just a Resort; it is a group of independent Resorts that come together in one larger leisure, entertainment and service centre. Nine million square metres of leisure, comfort and living that devine a new lifestyle for residential communities.
Condado de Alhama revolves around a magnificent Town Centre, designed like an island in the middle of a large lake, a Moorish medina surrounded by water and palm tress. The Hispanic-Arabic architecture, subtle and evocative, is present in the buildings and adjacent towers that surround the ponds, the hidden squares and large meeting areas, where water is found at every turn.
Golf is one of the most important features in Condado de Alhama. An immense green belt winds itself through plains and hills, lakes and palm trees creating kilometres and kilometres of green space. Two and a half million square metres of greens plus 800.000m² of natural areas (a surface equal to over 500 football pitches) spread out over the bounty of nature that is Condado.
The golf courses in this group of Resorts have been personally designed by Jack Nicklaus, the most celebrated golf player of all times. Three magnificent Signature courses, two of which are Bear´s Best, are spread across the complex. Condado de Alhama together with the other 6 golf courses belonging to Polaris World make up the Nicklaus Golf Trail, a unique circuit of golf courses contained within 25 km radius, which offers the best golf opportunity in Europe.
